For this piece, I chose to do an ocean landscape. I incorporated airbrush into my piece by using different blue strokes for the sky. I really like how my flowers turned out and how I used different shades of pinks and stippled them on to help create a sense of texture to them. Line is used in my painting for the waves seen in the water making it look like its moving. I made the sky darker at the top and lighter towards the bottom using different values of blue. I really like the placement of the flowers, mountains, and deck because it creates unity and makes the piece feel completed. Rhythm is also being used in the water through the repetition of lines creating movement. Overall, I am very pleased with this painting and how it turned out. I really enjoyed getting to use airbrush.
